50cent Curtis Jackson Filed for Bankruptcy over a Law suit that is related to sex tape
As we all know 50cent( Curtis Jackson) is one of the best American rapper and Actor, recently he filed a Bankruptcy over Law suit related to a sex tape even when Forbes magazine estimated earlier this year that
50 Cent was worth $155 million, having made $100 million in 2007 by selling his stake in energy drink Vitamin Water, why does he have to file for bankruptcy may be it is because he want to escape the order given by the court to pay $16 million to Sleek Audio, a headphone maker with which he was once affiliated, after the company accused him of spreading trade secrets and other misdeeds.
The filing could also be a protective move after 50 Cent was ordered on Friday to pay Lastonia Leviston $5 million as a result of a sex tape that he posted in 2009 allegedly as part of an attempt to stir the pot with rival rapper Rick Ross.
The celebrity said that he is making sure that he wont be taken advantage of because of his success and that he is doing what any business man will do to protect his business.
"When youre successful and stuff, you become a target. I dont wanna be a bullseye," Jackson said. "I dont want anybody to pick me as the guy that they just come to with astronomical claims and go through all that."
He also added, "Im taking precautions that any good businessperson would take in this situation."
