Finally, the moment came and Audi India launched the whole new 2013 Audi A4 facelift just a few hours ago. It may be a game changer for Audi as Audi A4 is the most selling Audi Vehicle in Indian Automotive Market. Recently Audi India outranked the Mercedes-Benz in sales figure to become the #2 Luxury car company in India. This car will compete with BMW 3 series and Mercedes-Benz C-class. As soon as BMW heard about the launch of face-lifted Audi A4 in India, it made a statement that the new 3 series (F350) will be launched in India in the month June to toughen up the competition.

Talking about the exteriors,
The 2013 Audi A4 facelift has got detailed styling and dynamic sharp lines. Major changes include the whole new hexagonal front grill, Xenon lamps with Homogeneous Day Time Running LEDs (DRLs), Trapezoid- shape fog lamps, revitalized bumper. The change that has been loved by most Indians is the artistically redefined LED tail lamps. Rear bumper has also gone through some minor changes.

2013 Audi A4 facelift in India has gone through minor visible changes but there are a lot of changes at machine level that have been introduced in the whole new 2013 Audi A4 facelift. Some of the visible changes in the interiors of Audi A4 facelift include, Four spoke steering wheel that is quite appealing, redefined gear changing knob, High quality dashboard and Next generation Audi MMI (Multimedia Interface).

2013 Audi A4 with 1.8T engine configuration is able to generate a max. power of 170 hp and a peak torque of 236 lb-ft. According to ARAI, the 2013 Audi A4 1.8 T has a fuel economy figure of 15.6 Kmpl. 2.0 TDI engine of 2013 Audi A4 is able to generate a max power of 211 hp and has a fuel economy figure of 16.5 Kmpl. The high end V6 3.0 TDI engine specification is able to generate a peak power of 333 hp, which makes it a really tough car to be critiqued.
I must say that it is the high time for BMW and Mercedes-Benz to come up with new strategies because if they do not take any action then within no time Audi will be the No. 1 Luxury car company in India. Anyways, that is a good news for me and Audi enthusiasts around the globe.
