5 Misteri dan Fakta Unik di GTA San Andreas Part 1

Holaa, kembali lagi bersama saya ^-^. Sudah lama saya tidak memberikan informasi segar dan bermanfaat untuk kalian semua. Ok, daripada curhat panjang lebar yang nggak jelas, lebih baik saya langsung saja bahas topik kali ini. Kali ini saya akan mengungkap fakta dan misteri terpendam dari GTA San Andreas yang benar-benar misterius :)

1. Danau Berwarna Coklat

Sudah bukan rahasia lagi buat para gamer kalau daerah Back O Beyond merupakan gudangnya misteri di San Andreas. Bukan sekedar misteri, tapi benar-benar misteri! Salah satunya ya seperti danau ini...

Danau kecil ini termasuk danau yang aneh. Bukan cuma karena warna danaunya yang keruh, tetapi juga jika kita menenggelamkan sesuatu (misalnya mobil), maka mobil itu tidak akan terlihat sama sekali (tidak seperti perairan pada umumnya), namun jika kita menyelam di danau tersebut, maka mobil itu akan terlihat (silakan coba sendiri untuk buktinya).

2. Graffiti Ajaib

Mengapa namanya graffiti ajaib? Karena graffiti ini muncul dan menghilang dengan sendirinya tanpa sentuhan manusia. Perhatikan dengan baik gambar di bawah ini!

Malam hari (Sekitar pk. 19.00)

Pagi hari (Sekitar pk. 07.00)

Bisa dilihat kan perbedaannya? Ya, graffiti ini akan muncul sekitar pukul 18.00 dan akan menghilang sekitar pukul 06.00. Saya masih belum mengetahui apa penyebab hilang dan munculnya graffiti ini secara misterius. Kalian bisa menemukannya di kuburan di kota Los Santos.

3. Bangunan Tertinggi di San Fierro

Bangunan ini merupakan bangunan tertinggi di San Fierro. Tinggi bangunan ini memang tidak setinggi bangunan tertinggi di Los Santos, namun bangunan ini terpilih sebagai "San Andreas Pointiest Building" (Bangunan tertajam di San Andreas).

4. Kursi Roda Tua
Sekilas memamg terlihat seperti kursi roda tua biasa yang sudah berkarat, namun kursi ini menyimpan segudang misteri, mulai dari siapa yang menaruh kursi roda ini, milik siapa kursi roda ini, hingga untuk apa sebuah kursi roda tua ini ditaruh di dermaga. Kursi ini dapat ditemukan di sebuah dermaga di Palomino Creek.

5. UFO
Misteri UFO ini merupakan misteri yang sangat populer di kalangan para gamer. Sampai saat ini keberadaan UFO di GTA San Andreas masih diperdebatkan. Namun saya pastikan UFO di GTA San Andreas itu ADA, hanya saja UFO tersebut dalam keadaan diam. Lho, dimana tempatnya? Jadi, tempatnya adalah di depan Lil Probe Inn (dekat Area 69). Kalau masih tidak percaya silakan buktikan sendiri :) .

9 months and counting with the Garmin Vivosmart HR Part 1

After my disastrous experience with the Fitbit Charge HR, which lasted all of 2 months before succumbing to power issues, I was wary but optimistic about the Garmin Vivosmart HR.

Contrary to tech sites and so-called "athletes" who bash and gush about fitness devices, your experience with wearables really depends on your habits. Its so easy to blame consumer electronics, when in reality its generally the user who is incompetent and ignorant (look at Amazon reviews for millions of examples). In the same way your technical aptitude determines how much you enjoy or loathe Android, Linux, FreeBSD, or macOS, your satisfaction for products such as the Garmin Vivosmart HR is determined by your expectations, and understanding of how consumer tech works.

For my part, the product met my price to performance/feature ratio and I continue to wear it daily. As a documentation engineer who isnt an athlete (and has no intentions of being a brainless gym rat) and who tries to workout at regularly every week, the Vivosmart HR is a worthy companion. Like all tech products, however, the Vivosmart HR isnt perfect and isnt for everyone.

Over the course of 9 months, I tested syncing the Vivosmart HR with Garmin Connect with the following devices:

• Macbook Air - macOS (over USB)
• HP Stream 8 - Windows 10 (over Bluetooth and USB)
• Sony Xperia C3 - Android 5.1
• Lumia 925 - Windows Phone 8.1
• Lumia 650 - Windows 10 Mobile
• Moto G4 Plus - Android 6

The following were observed during daily use:

1. Admittedly, an IT office worker putting in 9 to 10 hours a day in front of servers and virtual machines dont get as much activity as say, a construction worker or even a barista, who are on their feet most of the day.  However, the Vivosmart HR does a good job of counting the 30 floors I try to climb in my office building daily. The Vivosmart HR often misses 1 floor or occasionally interprets a landing as a floor, but in general gets it right (though a recent firmware update made the sensor even less accurate).

Theres a lag of maybe 30 seconds to 2 minutes before it vibrates to indicate you accomplished your target number of floors for the day. Moreover, the Vivosmart HR isnt very good with calculating inclines and hills as floors.

2. Sadly, the rubber free loop snapped off after 9 months. Im temporarily using a plastic wire loop or paper clip to keep the strap from flapping around. Surprisingly, it snapped off while I was sleeping and not while performing any physical activity.

3. Although the waterproof design of the Vivosmart HR is excellent, its still better to remove the device when youre taking a shower since accumulated soap, moisturizing lotion, and chemicals quickly accumulate in the area.

802 11 Networks on Radio Mobile Part 1 Step By Step

Before reading this tutorial, you might want to take a look at Introduction to Radio Mobile

This tutorial will cover the creation of your first 5.8 ghz network with a single point to point link. You will learn how to create units, set network parameters, and create a point to point link profile.

1. Creating your first network:

Let us start with a brand new blank network: Click on File->New Networks

You will be prompted to erase the current network, since this is the first run you can proceed.

You will be presented with a "New Net initialization" screen. For now, let us stick to the default values.

Once the new network has been created, save it on your hard drive: Click on File->Save Networks As, and choose your save location. This will be the location where any additional files related to your network will be saved as well. I use c: adiomobile etworks for mine.

2. Creating Units

Each unit is a single wireless radio/antenna combination. So in order to map a full highsite, you will have multiple units at a specific set of coordinates. For now we will start with a simple Point-to-Point link and expand from there.

For the sheer fun of it, we will be plotting links for the fictitious WISP, SaharaNet. You can download the Google Earth file HERE.

SN-Grid-1:

Type: Ubiquiti Bullet M5 with 27db Grid Antenna

Lat:   24.612162�

Lon:  8.088472�

SN-Grid-2:

Type: Ubiquiti Bullet M5 with 27db Grid Antenna

Lat:    24.675089�

Lon:   8.144723�

To create the units, click on File->Unit Properties 

1. Select Unit 1 and enter the name SN-Grid-1
2. Click on "Enter LAT LON or QRA" alternatively you can copy the placemark in Google Earth and simply click on "Paste"
3. Enter the Latitude an Longitude for SN-Grid-1.

Do the same for Unit 2 with SN-Grid-2

Click OK all the way out of Unit Properties

3. Configure the Networks

3.1 Network Parameters

Click on "File->Networks Properties"

Give this network a name, I will use "Point-to-Point" because it makes sense in this tutorial. In production you would want to give it a name that makes it uniquely identifiable.

Minimum Frequency: 5180mhz (this is where the licence free band in my country starts)

Maximum Frequency: 5800mhz

Polarization: Vertical (the antenna profiles in the installer are all vertical)

Mode of variability: Spot (I wont pretend to understand this, but the people who know assure me this is good)

% of situations: 70% (again as above, this should give you a decent error margin)

Climate: Desert (Obviously you would need to choose the appropriate one)

3.2 Network Topology

On the Topology tab:

Visible: On (this means the links in this net will be plotted on your map)

Data net, star topology (Master/Slave): This makes the most sense for WiFi networks

Tick the bottom boxes, they are self explanatory.

3.3 Network Systems

We will skip ahead and come back to Membership later.

On the Systems Tab:

1. Select System 1 in the left hand pane.
2. From the dropdown select UBNT BulletM5 - 27db Grid

3.4 Network Membership

On the Membership Tab:

1. Make sure that the two units we created earlier are selected.

For SN-Grid-1:

• Role of SN-Grid-1: Master
• System: UBNT BulletM5 - 27db Grid
• Antenna height (m): 10m
• Antenna Direction: SN-Grid-2

For SN-Grid-2:

• Role of SN-Grid-2: Slave
• System: UBNT BulletM5 - 27db Grid
• Antenna height (m): 10m
• Antenna Direction: SN-Grid-1

3.4 Network Style

On the network style tab:

1. Draw green line if RX relative(dB) is >= : 30dB
2. Draw yellow line if RX relative(dB) is >= : 15dB
3. Leave the rest on default settings.

4. Creating a Map:

1. Select SN-Grid-1 to center the map on.
2. Tick "Adjust units elevation"
3. Adjust the size (pixel) so that you know it will fit on your screen, and the Size(km) so that it will include both units.
4. Click Extract"

If this is the first time you are creating a map, it will proceed to download the map data from the online sources.

When the download completes, you will get a very nice topographical map of the area around your units:

To display your units on the map click the Show Networks icon on the toolbar:

You will now see the link plotted on the map. The settings we applied in "Network Style" determines that the link color will be green since it is above the threshold.

5. Plotting a point to point link profile

Click on the Radio Link toolbar icon:

You will now be presented with a beautiful radio link profile, it will provide you with all the details re. the link. In this case it estimates that you will have a SNR of 41.1dB provided that there are no buildings or other obstacles in the way, and that it is a zero noise environment. Since this is out in the middle of the desert, I think it is safe to assume that these estimations are very accurate. Remember that link modelling does not replace a good old fashioned site survey.

Remember to save your project.

A Look at Final Fantasy XVs Latest 1 05 Update and Booster Pack Mini Review

Final Fantasy XV is a gift that keeps on giving and is really doing its best to keep everyone playing, whether its those who purchased it or those who bought the Season Pass holders like myself. This is a smart move considering the time between each of the upcoming character Episode DLCs and is a good way to stop the open world becoming stale and keep those still totally addicted like myself from becoming less addicted or worse, not playing at all. Normally I wouldnt write anything about an update to a game, but the 1.05 update added some really significant updates, such as timed quests and a higher level cap. On top of that, Season Pass holders also got the Booster Pack+ a day after the update so as a happy Final Fantasy XV fan, I wanted to give my thoughts on each new feature added to the game because some of them are pretty cool.

Update 1.05

The new update to Final Fantasy XV adds some significant features and is available freely to anyone who owns the game. An exciting thing for those who own a PS4 Pro is probably the new Lite Mode that has a maximum of 60FPS and probably looks absolutely stunning. I dont own a PS4 Pro so I cant comment on this much, but it gives me a reason to be a little more jealous of everyone who does.

Also something I cant comment on much is the raised level cap as my characters are only just at level 80 as I write this (note: as I edit this, Ive hit level 100 woo!), but Im pretty excited for this. Usually levels are capped at level 99 in Final Fantasy games, but Final Fantasy XV players can enjoy getting up to level 120, which is a really cool change. I recently maxed out my characters skills and have missed having a goal to work towards, so its nice to know I can enjoy seeing my EXP go up for awhile. Also Im keen to have some totally OP characters for when I go verse a certain boss for a certain gold trophy and an curious to see if it will affect my enjoyment of XV. I do wonder if level cap increases will be a trend with future Final Fantasy XV updates, but even if its a one-off, its pretty damn cool.

The thing that had me most keen for the 1.05 update is the addition of Timed Quests. Ive written about how Im totally addicted to running around in Final Fantasy XVs world and Timed Quests are a great way to keep this interesting. The first one is pretty rewarding, with the current fun and challenging cactaur quest giving 10,000 EXP, 333 AP and 150,000 Gil upon first completion, plus cactaurs being 1000 EXP each anyway add up to a fantastic way to reach that new Level 120. This update is guaranteed to keep me checking back for those awesome rewards and I cant wait for more quests and hunts.

The last few updates are minor updates, but nonetheless help enrich the player experience in Final Fantasy XV. In case you were getting sick of hearing the Chocobo theme (is that possible?) while riding Chocobos, you can finally listen to the Audio Player while riding and if you wanted to listen to two tracks from NieR�s gorgeous soundtrack, you can do that now too. Prompto can also store 50 more photos (200 in total), which is nice since I havent been able to save new photos for awhile. The new update also takes out the Moogle Chocobo Carnival, which I�d already used to help me get my Fishing Skill to full and done pretty much everything in. The Chocobo music player and photo capacity probably shouldve been in XV already and are kind of insignificant at this point, but Ill take them and enjoy them anyway. All of these additions make a pretty solid upgrade to the base experience of XV and have already given me more reasons to keep playing.

Booster Pack+

The exclusive to Season Pass holders Booster Pack+ is a small little pack of items to mostly make fishing a little easier. The lack of a �wow� item in this pack is probably due to the delay of the Magitek Exosuit that is getting a redesign due to similarities to the Power Rangers� suits and was supposed to offer invisibility and a boost in fishing skills for a limited time. But the items are a nice little token for those with the season pass regardless. The Dragon Drain Rod and Avior Reel will be helpful for those upping their fishing skill; I dont overly care for these since mine is at max and I only really fished for new recipes and trophies. What I am enjoying is the Ragnarok sword, which packs a punch in battle and mostly just looks cool when warping due to it spitting a bunch of pink electrical looking stuff everywhere. It isnt however stronger than the Blood Sword I was using, so I may retire it soon, making the Booster Pack+ of little use to me.

Being honest, the Booster Pack+ is a tad lacklustre and is absolutely not worth getting the Season Pass for. But its an alright bonus for those like myself who have it already for the story episodes and if I ever decide to complete Noct�s fishing collection, Im sure Ill be at least a little happy I have it.

The real standout of these two additions to Final Fantasy XV is the free 1.05 update, but both it and the Booster Pack+ add nice little touches to enhance the current Final Fantasy XV. I enjoyed driving to the latest timed-quest while listening to music from NieR, and will be eagerly waiting for future timed-quests. Final Fantasy XV has been lucky to be getting so much support so far and I hope the addition of timed-quests among the other additions is a nod towards Final Fantasy XV getting support between each of its story episodes.
